You can see exactly what you have spent
The billing screen inside the product shows the plan's limits, this period's usage against the allowance, and the three credit balances in the order they are drawn down.
- Plan credits are derived from the plan minus this period's usage — there is no monthly reset job that can fail to run.
- Add-on credit is a separate bucket with a one-year expiry, independent of the billing cycle.
- Credit granted by support is drawn last, so you never lose paid credit to a goodwill top-up.
- A workspace is the billing subject: three workspaces is three independent bills.
Billing questions
Before you pick a plan
The questions that decide which tier is right, answered with the actual rules the billing system applies.
What is a URL credit?
One crawled URL. A scan that fetches 400 pages spends 400 credits from the month's allowance. Your plan's allowance goes first, then any add-on credit you have bought, then anything support has granted — the billing screen shows all three balances and what is left.
What happens when I run out of credits mid-month?
Scans stop starting until the period rolls over or you top up. Nothing you have already crawled is deleted, and the reports you have stay readable — the limit is on new crawling, not on reading what you paid for.
Do unused credits roll over?
The plan's monthly allowance does not; it is derived from the plan and this period's usage, and it resets with the cycle. Add-on credit you have bought is a separate bucket with its own one-year clock, so it survives the reset.
Is a seat charged per person?
No. Seats are a limit, not a line item — the plan's price is the price whether you use one seat or all of them. Pending invitations count against the limit, because an invitation is going to become a seat.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancelling means one thing: the subscription stops auto-renewing. Every entitlement is honoured to the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no mid-cycle termination and no refund of a period that has begun — you keep what you paid for until it runs out. Downgrades are deferred to the end of the cycle for the same reason.
Can I change plan mid-cycle?
Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades are applied at the end of the current period, so entitlements you have already paid for are not taken away part-way through the month.
When will prices be announced?
We have not set them yet, and we would rather show you the plans without prices than publish a number we intend to change. The limits on this page are the real ones the billing system enforces today — URL allowance, sites, seats, retention and which integrations each tier unlocks. If you need a figure to plan against, ask us and we will tell you where our thinking is.
Can I use PixyScan before prices are announced?
Yes. The free plan is live and complete: one site, 500 URL credits a month, all 100+ checks, the full work list and a page report for every URL. It takes no card and does not expire.
What counts as a site?
One hostname you have connected. Each site keeps its own crawl settings, schedule, check toggles, members, scan history and CI/CD secret.
